How to Service and Repair the A/C Hose on Ford Windstar?

The first procedure when working on HVAC hose/line servicing or repairs consists of disconnecting the battery. The execution of the Refrigerant Discharging and Recovery Procedure should follow next. First disconnect the suction accumulator/drier followed by separating the condenser to evaporator line spring lock coupling from the A/C evaporator core and the line from the condenser and peanut fitting. Remove the bolt. To install the HVAC hose use the inverse order of uninstallation steps while using PAG Compressor Oil YN-12-C, F7AZ-19589-DA or an approved equivalent oil meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B for lubricating the O-ring seal.
