How to service and repair the fuel filler hose on Ford Windstar?

The first step for fuel filler hose repair or servicing requires cutting off the battery ground cable. Prior to draining the fuel tank you must reduce its level to half capacity. Begin service of the fuel filler hose by first detaching the screws and next lifting the vehicle. Remove both the left-hand rear tire along with wheel assembly after which the front edge of the rear wheel well splash shield can be taken off. Detach both the fuel vapor fresh air hose from the filler pipe retaining clip while loosing the filler pipe hose clamp then removing the hose. You can extract the filler pipe assembly after you have taken away its holding bolt. Installation requires carrying out the steps in the opposite order of removal.
