To fix the power mirror motor, pull out the mirror glass pushing on the top and pulling out. Loose the motor and back cover with a screw and see the rubber boot. Mark electrical connector points and then remove the motor. Installation Repeat steps, and be sure to boot-up properly.

How to Service and Repair the Power Mirror Actuator on Ford Windstar?

In order to fix the power mirror motor, push the mirror glass out to release it and disconnect any electrical connectors. Unscrew the connector of the motor, and unscrew the screws holding it in place. To install, follow the directions in reverse, using Electrical Grease F8AZ-19G208-AA on the connector and reseat the mirror glass.
