  A: The cruise control servo service requires first disconnecting the speed control cable from the speed control actuator before removing the electrical connector from the same unit. Start service of the cruise control servo by removing the two bolts which anchor the speed control actuator and bracket assembly. The first step for installation involves tightening the bolts to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft) after which workers should follow the opposite order of removal steps to confirm the tabs on the speed control cable are in position and the cable extends completely into the accelerator bracket. Inspect that the rubber seal completely covers the speed control cable cap.
