How to Service the Power Steering Cooler on Lincoln Aviator?

The power steering cooler service starts by placing the vehicle on a hoist with transmission set in NEUTRAL position. Use suitable containers to collect fluid while you release and disconnect the cooler hoses by unclamping their fittings. The two power steering cooler bolts must be removed before extracting the cooler from its place. Follow the removal procedures in reverse while installing the new cooler by tightening bolts to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.). Proper fluid should be added to the power steering system as the last step.
