How to Service and Repair the Shift Cable on Lincoln Aviator?

In order to repair the transmission selector cable, make sure the vehicle is in PARK on a hoist. Take off components as shown then repeat the process to assemble. Install the grommet into the floor pan and then adjust the shift cable and install the retaining clip to ensure that one does not allow water to enter into the passenger compartment.
