Service the fresh air inlet duct by removing cowl vent screen and the cabin air filter. Eliminate seven engine compartment brace bolts and brace. Remove four nuts and the duct. Take off three nuts, pin-type retainer of the insulator. Installation, reverse removal.

How to service the intake air duct on Lincoln LS?

In order to maintain the intake air duct, detach IAT sensor, aspirator hose, and positive crankcase ventilation hose. Unscrew the hose clamps and take off the air cleaner outlet tube, breaking it off at the throttle body first. To install, reverse the process, but make sure that it is sealed securely to avoid unmetered air.
