In order to fix the driver door latch, disconnect battery ground cable. Take off the door trim panel, theft shield screw and lock cylinder nut. De-connect exterior handle actuator rod and electrical connectors. Unscrew the door latch screws and interior handle cable and pull out the door latch. Installation Reverse the process.
