How to service and repair the rear right parking brake cable on all on Lincoln MKX?

All vehicles require hoisting to neutral with correct positioning before beginning repairs on the rear right parking brake cable. Release pressure from the parking brake cable through equalizer adjustment nut loosening then detach the right-hand parking brake cable from the equalizer by squeezing its tabs to remove it from the bracket. Rear all-wheel drive vehicles require removal of the wheel speed sensor bolt followed by its placement aside while tightening it back to 7 Nm (62 lb-in) during reinstallation. The two parking brake cable-to-support plate bolts must be removed along with disconnecting the cable from this lever while reinstallation requires a torque of 23 Nm (17 lb-ft). First remove the stabilizer bar link nut before placing the link aside. Reinstall this link with a tight torque of 35 Nm (26 lb-ft). Carefully loosen and pull the parking brake cable from its bracket while removing its four bolts before installation which should be tightened to 23 Nm (17 lb-ft). Reposition the new cable following the opposite steps of removal and adjust the parking brake cable appropriately.
