First cut off the RCM fuse to light up the airbag warning to replace the front seat cushion. Take out the front seat, unscrew wire harnesses, and unscrew cushion assembly. Installation: Be sure to route the cables and connectors correctly, and replace the seat, tightening the bolts to 23 Nm (17 lb-ft).

How to remove and replace the 60 percent rear seat cushion on Lincoln MKX?

In order to change the rear seat cushion (60 percent) you have to remove the seat, and disconnect the heater mat wires. Next take off the pivot bracket covers and bolts to take off the cushion assembly. Installation of the new cushion, and do the same when reversing the process, tighten the bolts up to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
