A therapist repair or service requires draining the cooling system as the first step. The first step requires you to remove the air cleaner assembly and outlet pipe then the two bolts securing the thermostat housing cover must be removed before setting it aside. Secure the thermostat cover installation by tightening it to 10 Nm (89 lb-in). Uninstall the O-ring seal and thermostat before inspecting the O-ring seal and deciding on a new one for replacement. Clean engine coolant needs to be used for lubricating the thermostat O-ring seal before putting it into place. The thermostat installation process ends with removing the system fluids through the cooling system bleed.
