The first step to repair or service the parking assist distance sensor requires removal of the rear bumper cover that exists on every vehicle. First remove the nuts before taking away the foam absorber which is attached to the bumper cover. Removing both ultrasonic sensors from the Navigator requires disconnecting electrical connectors followed by unlocking tab mechanisms before removing the sensors.
