How to service the rear tail light assembly on Lincoln Town Car?

In order to service the rear lamp assembly, remove the 2 pin-type retainers and scuff plate and put aside the trim panel. In the case of THX(R) vehicles, when servicing the LH lamp, remove the audio amplifier. Unscrew the bulb sockets, screw the 3 securing nuts to 7 Nm (62 lb-in) and repeat the process to replace.
