How to service the headlight bulb on Lincoln Town Car?

Service of the headlamp bulb starts with turning off both the headlamp switch and ignition switch. You must first detach the three pin-type retainers and two screws and the radiator air deflector before unbolting the headlamp assembly. Start by separating the electrical connector before freeing the tabs to detach the protective cover of the headlamp bulb. You must first disconnect the connector as well as remove the standard low beam bulb. The HID low beam bulb requires first removing its electrical connector and releasing spring tabs before bulb extraction. The electrical connector needs disconnection before high beam bulb removal. Returning to the original steps will allow you to install new bulbs with possible lamp adjustment required. Keep the halogen bulb gingerly because it stores gas under pressure which can break if it touches the glass envelope or encounters any scratches during handling; handle it by gripping the base section while refraining from touching the envelope.
