How to service the Wiper Linkage on Lincoln Town Car?

For the wiper motor linkage, the battery cable must be disconnected. Then, take off the windshield wiper pivot arms by turning out the nuts on each side. Next, take off the cowl top vent panels, set aside the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly and remove the nuts and the bolt. Next, remove the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly making sure to disconnect the electrical connector. Installation is accomplished in the reverse manner to the removal procedure.
