Start the repair of the rear door window regulator and motor by taking out the rear door trim panel together with the access hole plugs. Removal of the door window regulator motor should be performed when it fails to operate. Achieve access to glass clamp bolts by lowering the window then remove the bolts while maintaining final tightening at 6 Nm (53 lb-in) upon reinstalling. Use window tape to fix it in position before allowing the regulator to descend until it touches the stops within the track ends. The first step involves removing the door speaker and following this by extracting the interior door handle screw before setting the door handle to the side. The technician needs to manage the wiring harness retainers before taking out the wiring harness cover plate and disconnecting the two door latch cable retainers. Tighten the ten door module bolts to 8 Nm while removing them for reinstallation. The door latch electrical connector needs disconnecting for the removal of the rear door module assembly. The completion of this process follows the reverse steps of removal.
