How to service the Wiper Linkage on Lincoln Zephyr?

To gain access to the wiper motor linkage, remove the upper cowl panel grille. Then unplug the electrical connector to the windshield wiper motor. Next, disconnect the two windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly bolts and then disconnect the assembly. During installation, be sure to torque the bolts to 5 Nm (44 lb-in) and back the bolts over to do the installation.
