How to service the Side Marker Light on Mercury Cougar?

In order to service the marker lamp, begin by taking out the headlamp assembly. The second step is to unscrew the side lamp/turn signal socket but not the bulb, which is the second step. Installation is the same way, but with the opposite order, no contact with the glass of the bulb. Lastly, check the headlamp after fitting.
