  A: To protect against sudden air spring changes that could harm people, the first step before compressor servicing is ensuring power to Air Suspension power is disabled. The air suspension service must be set to OFF position. Position the vehicle into NEUTRAL and maintain it on the hoist. Start the process by removing the air cleaner followed by removal of the air compressor drier cover using a pushpin first and a cover second protocol. Finish the task by pulling out the canister through its pushpin removal. Disconnect the air suspension compressor by using the quick connect locking ring compression to extract the air tube before separating the electric connector. Reassemble the air suspension compressor brackets by tightening their bracket nuts to 5 Nm (44 lb-in) torque setting. The installation ends with removing the air suspension compressor assembly. The installation requires feeding at least 3 mm (1/8 in) of visible white tube into the fittings where air tubes connect to the compressor drier before proceeding with installation.
