How to Service and Repair an Antenna Cable for FM Antenna Cable on Mercury Grand Marquis?

The antenna cable service and repair process starts by taking out the rear package tray trim along with the right-hand roof side rear trim panel. You should free the sound insulator from its position to disconnect the antenna cable. First position the headliner to a side then remove the pin-type retainers. The antenna lead-in cable installation requires disconnecting the connector then removing the bolt before detaching the cable retainers. The reverse steps need to be followed during installation.
