How to service and repair the Differential Cover on Mercury Grand Marquis?

To replace the differential housing cover, disconnect air suspension system and disconnect fire suppression system where fitted. Take off the cover bolts, empty the lubricant and wipe off. Place silicone rubber sealant, apply the cover, and tighten bolts. Apply lubricant to fill the axle and re-initiate systems and then lower the vehicle.
