In order to work on the upper intake manifold, take out the air cleaner outlet pipe and accelerator control splash shield. Disassemble different cables, hoses, and sensors. Take out the intake manifold assembly bolts, wash the surfaces off and reset a new gasket. Assemble First take everything back together by reconnecting all the parts and replacing the splash shield and outlet tube.
