How to service the Headlight Switch on Mercury Villager?

The headlamp switch requires a service which involves unscrewing and removing the switch by disconnecting the battery ground cable, removing the switch panel and connectors and removing the switch itself. To install, follow the procedure backwards. Following the second reconnect, the vehicle can exhibit abnormal drive symptoms as it again learns its adaptive strategy and must drive 16km (10 miles) or more.
