Power Antenna

The antenna servicing process begins with a counterclockwise rotation of the radio antenna mast while removing the instrument panel and the radio antenna mast. Unclip the antenna lead-in cable through removing the plastic retainer followed by unclipping the cable. The first step is to lift the vehicle before removing the wheel along with its corresponding tire. Prior to setting aside the front fender splash shield operator should first detach inner fender finish trim screws and pin-type retainers. Users should remove the rubber grommet and radio lead-in cable after setting the splash shield to the side of the front fender wheel well. The radio antenna mast base requires counterclockwise rotation until you can separate the nut from the base. Remove the antenna lead-in cable by first removing its bracket bolt then extracting the cable and bracket out through the wheel well opening. Chiefly follow the steps that were used for removal in reverse order to finish installation work.

Start antenna service and repair operations through the removal of the instrument panel followed by rotating the radio antenna mast counterclockwise. Proceed to unclip the antenna lead-in cable after removing its plastic retainer to unfasten the cable. Support the vehicle with blocks and remove both tire and wheel from beneath it. To access the front fender splash shield remove both the inner fender finish trim screws together with the pin-type retainers. When the splash shield is positioned aside you can take out both the rubber grommet and the radio lead-in cable from the front fender wheel well. Solenoid moving the radio antenna base apart begins with counterclockwise rotation of the nut followed by removal of both antenna base and nut. First disconnect the antenna lead-in cable through a process of removing the antenna bracket bolt followed by pulling both cable and bracket through the wheel well opening. The installation ends through performing the opposite steps of removal.
