How to service the radio antenna on a wagon on Mercury Sable?

To service the radio antenna, remove the left-hand spare tire trim panel and spare tire for a wagon, or the left-hand luggage compartment trim panel for a sedan. Disconnect the antenna lead-in cable, remove the antenna mast and base, then install the new antenna by reversing the steps.

How to Address Antenna Issues on a Mercury Villager?

To service the antenna, the instrument panel and the radio mast have to be removed all followed by unclipping the antenna cable. Lift up the vehicle, take off the wheel, and place the splash shield out of the way. De-attach the grommet and cable, and then the antenna base. Undo to re-install.
