Stabilizer Bar Insulator, Front

The sway bar bushing service begins with raising the vehicle on a hoist then removing the wheel assemblies. Service the sway bar by disconnecting front sway bar links from the bar through bushing and nut removal where you should discard the nuts. Before removal of nuts from the sway bar links, the sway bar should be rotated to break their connection then the sway bar nuts need disposal. Afterward, remove both brackets then cut sway bar insulators from the sway bar bracket. The front sway bar along with its bushings requires the application of Rubber Suspension Insulator Lube E25Y-19553-A or a material that satisfies Ford specification ESF-M99B112-A for installation purposes. The procedure ends with the reverse order procedure to finish the installation. Use an identical part bearing the same number or an equivalent part when replacing it and follow torque recommendations for reassembly to preserve suspension system strength.

Take off the stabilizer bar bracket and the stabilizer bar mounting bracket adapter, and cut the stabilizer bar insulators from the stabilizer bar.
