Service and repair on the condenser to evaporator line of 3.0L (2V) engine vehicles requires suction accumulator (19C836) removal as the first step. To start remove the lower radiator air deflectors bolts followed by removing five screws when equipped or seven screws. The condenser to evaporator line (19835) must be disconnected so technicians can remove both its old O-ring seal. The installation of the condenser to evaporator line requires a new O-ring seal coated with PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil (R-134a Systems) F7AZ-19589-DA (Motorcraft YN-12-C) or any equivalent material that satisfies Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B. The evaporative emission canister purge valve on vehicles with a 3.0L (4V) engine needs detachment to perform the installation successfully. Start by disconnecting the electrical connector and removing the nuts. First detach the power steering reservoir through nut removal before disconnecting the wiring harness and then removing two nuts and the bolt. Use a new O-ring seal with PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil (R-134a Systems) F7AZ-19589-DA (Motorcraft YN-12-C) or an equivalent that meets Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B to disconnect and reconnect the condenser to evaporator line spring lock coupling. Use a new O-ring seal for installation and lubricate it with PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil F7AZ-19589-DA (Motorcraft YN-12-C) which meets Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B or an equivalent product. To install and operate the A/C system after replacement the technician must execute the removal steps in reverse order while conducting the system evacuation followed by leak testing and charging procedures.

The first step for servicing and repairing the HVAC system compressor manifold and tube assembly starts by recovering the refrigerant followed by hoisting the vehicle at NEUTRAL gear position. The lower radiator air deflector can be removed by uninstalling five screws along with seven screws to detach the air deflector. Disconnect the compressed gas line at the condenser where the manifold faces while discarding the O-ring seal. Lower the vehicle before you remove the engine oil indicator which leads to removing necessary bolts to place the ignition coil into a separate position. Afterwards disconnect the spring lock coupling between the suction accumulator and compressor manifold and tube assembly while discarding both O-ring seals. Excavate the compressor manifold and tube assembly after cutting off the pressure cutoff switch and taking away the bolt to finish the procedure with O-ring seals in the waste bin. The new assembly refurbishment requires following the reverse installation process while supplying new O-ring seals treated with mineral oil and applying PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil F7AZ-19D589-DA (Motorcraft YN-12-C) properly diluted as a system lubricant. The process ends with evacuation and leak testing of the refrigerant system and charging it with the proper refrigerant amount.

Disconnect it at the condenser and discard the O-ring seal.

Remove the bolt and fuel line bracket, disconnect the fuel line, and remove the suction accumulator line nut and bracket screw.
