Service of the HVAC control module starts with engine cooling system drainage. The visual harness connector along with vacuum hoses need removal from the evaporative emission canister purge valve (the EVAP canister purge valve has its own part number). You need to unpurchase the nut then free all nuts which hold the evaporative emission canister purge valve until you can disconnect it. The starting point includes clamps release followed by unconnecting heater hoses from the heater core until the heater hose can be removed after releasing its clamp. First remove the stud along with the nut then proceed to uninstall the blower motor speed control by taking out the screws and disconnecting the electrical connector before completely removing it. First clean all components before installing them by using plain water or coolant hose lubricant on the coolant system. Then fill the engine coolant until it reaches the recommended level.

The instrument cluster finish panel requires removal first before proceeding to remove screws as the first step for servicing and repairing the climate control assembly. The first step for servicing the climate control assembly involves disconnecting its electrical connectors before pulling out the assembly unit. The installation process requires following the opposite sequence used for dismantling.

The blower motor switch repair process should start with draining engine cooling fluid before proceeding. The service begins with hose and wire harness disconnect from the evaporative emission canister purge valve which has part number EVAP canister purge valve. First detach the valve by removing the nut and the nuts that fasten the evaporative emission canister purge valve. The service begins by detaching heater hoses from the heater core through clamp releases before removing the hose because of released clamps. Start by removing the nut then the stud before detaching the wire harness from the blower motor speed control upper stud by taking out its retaining nut. First use pliers to remove and detach the electrical connector from the blower motor speed control and then unscrew the screw and withdraw the stud together with the assembly of the speed controller. Reverse the procedure for new component installation by cleaning and lubricating the coolant system with plain water if required and then filling engine coolant to proper levels.

Release the clamps and disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core, followed by releasing the clamp and removing the heater hose.

Remove the instrument cluster finish panel and then the screws.

Reverse the steps taken during removal.
