Bumper Cover, Rear

You should start by removing the six screws which lock the rear bumper cover before securing the screws at 6 Nm (53 lb-in) torque for reinstallation. The six screws securing both sides of the rear bumper cover splash shield need to be removed in the next step. The license plate electrical connector needs disconnection before performing removal with bender cover protection from twisting motion. The bumper cover can be released from retaining clips by first pulling its outer corners outwards followed by pulling them backward. After transfer of required parts reinstall the component through the backward approach of uninstallation.

Rotate the bottom of the front bumper cover upward and apply downward pressure to the top to release the three locking tabs.

Begin by removing the six screws securing the rear bumper cover.
