A fully seated retaining wire inside the retainer brackets of rear seat cushion pad and frame and rear seat backrest pad and frame is necessary to stop sliding during collisions or face possible injuries to vehicle occupants. Follow the uninstallation process in reverse by making safety belts and buckles accessible to occupants and verifying safety belt retractor functionality with no binding or excess effort. The vehicle should receive a repower operation for police applications when it has a built-in fire suppression system.

Service of rear seat armrests requires first turning off the fire suppression system when present and emphasizing this step particularly for police vehicles. Take out the screws and the two hinge screws.
