    Q:
How to Service and Repair the Cooling Hose on Ford Taurus? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step in servicing coolant line/hose includes draining the cooling system before moving on. You must start by taking off the air cleaner outlet tube before unclipping the water bypass tube hoses. Remove the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor as well as the water temperature sender with their harness locator pin from the bypass tube. The service requires you to remove the bolt along with the stud to extract the water bypass tube. The service requires you to inspect O-ring seals before installing new ones if needed. Perform the installation by following the reverse order of this removal process.

    Q:
How to service and repair the radiator hose-tube assembly on Ford Taurus? Posted by Customer
    A:
Repair and servicing of the radiator hose-tube assembly begins by raising the vehicle and supporting it and removing the front splash shield followed by draining the cooling system. Start by removing the lower radiator hose and reservoir supply hose together with the radiator lower tube bolt. Afterward lower the vehicle. The service of the radiator tube assembly begins with removing the upper tube bolt before detaching the radiator vent tube. Detach the upper radiator hose followed by the engine vent hose before releasing the power distribution box tabs which will allow you to set it aside. The radiator tube assembly removal requires first taking out the two bolts followed by disconnecting the harness pin-type retainer along with the oxygen sensor connector retainer. The installation process ends by performing the steps in reverse order to the removal process.
