Radiator Hose, Lower

The first step in servicing coolant line/hose includes draining the cooling system before moving on. You must start by taking off the air cleaner outlet tube before unclipping the water bypass tube hoses. Remove the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor as well as the water temperature sender with their harness locator pin from the bypass tube. The service requires you to remove the bolt along with the stud to extract the water bypass tube. The service requires you to inspect O-ring seals before installing new ones if needed. Perform the installation by following the reverse order of this removal process.

Start by removing the lower radiator hose and reservoir supply hose together with the radiator lower tube bolt. Afterward lower the vehicle. Detach the upper radiator hose followed by the engine vent hose before releasing the power distribution box tabs which will allow you to set it aside.
