The brake bleeding process requires using fresh brake fluid from an approved manufacturer that should not contain any leftover drained fluid to guard against contamination damage. Performing the procedure requires enough fluid within the brake master cylinder to stop damage from occurring and sustain proper braking functions. You should wash off spilled brake fluid from painted as well as plastic surfaces using water as soon as possible. New brake master cylinders together with systems that were emptied need to undergo priming before any air enters the equipment. Prepare the brake outlet tubes removal from the brake master cylinder by installing short brake tubes to its primary and secondary ports and submerging the tube ends directly into a clean brake fluid reservoir. During the fluid pump, an assistant should sustain pressure on the brake pedal while clear fluid without bubbles exits from both tubes. Install the brake outlet tubes after short tube removal then assist your assistant with bleeding each tube at the brake master cylinder through pedal pumping at least twice followed by sustained firm pressure application. The assistant should maintain pressure when you tighten the rear brake tube fitting after it has been loosened enough to release brake fluid. Usual bleed procedures must be followed until you obtain bubble-free fluid without running out of reservoir liquid before you move forward with front brake tube bleeding. Bleed the brake master cylinder brake system by securing the tube fittings to their specifications while finishing the process with the bleeding procedure.

Tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in) for vehicles without anti-lock brakes and 15 Nm (133 lb-in) for those with anti-lock brakes.
