Begin by releasing the mini-buckle with a suitable tool followed by the two levers located at the bottom outside corners of the seat cushion. Then pull the cushion out smoothly. Disconnection of heated seat electrical connectors should be performed on both outboard sides of the seat before proceeding. Uninstall the seat cushion followed by disconnection and removal of the right and left heated seat modules when equipped. Carefully peel the trim cover upholstery from its hook and loop strip while releasing all hog rings from the outer seat cushion trim without hurting the foam pad. Remove the hooks from the hook and loop fasteners and unfasten every hog ring on the inner seat cover along with the removal of the trim cover. The technician should detach and remove the heater elements from right and left cushions when necessary. The procedure ends by undoing all previously completed dismantling operations.
