    Service of the front floor console requires first activating the parking brake followed by moving the front seat to its furthest position. Reinstall the two rear bolts of the front floor console after you tighten them to 7 Nm (62 lb-in). Switch off the battery power while moving rearward the front vehicle seats. After disconnecting the electrical connectors remove both the pin-type retainer and the window control switch panel. Press NEUTRAL on the shift lever followed by placing the shift indicator bezel to the side. Tear away the screws holding the center console finish panel while disconnecting the shift cable. During installation replace the floor console electrical connectors by first loosening the connector bolt then tightening it to 5 Nm (44 lb-in). Additional electrical connectors must be disconnected according to requirements. Start by taking off the front floor console side finish panels from both left and right sides while disconnecting all electrical connectors that are present. Remove the left-hand and right-hand front floor console front bolts before taking out the floor console itself while tightening all bolts to 7 Nm (62 lb-in) during reinstallation. After removal the procedure can be finalized through the execution of the opposite installation sequence.
