First service and repair operations on the rear door window regulator require complete removal of the rear door trim panel together with its bracket and the screw. Access screws under the rear door window glass by lowering the window position while keeping the water shield to the side. Start by unscrewing the rear door window glass and then maintain the glass in its uppermost position through support. You must disconnect the power window electrical connector from vehicles with this feature then uninstall the rear door power window regulator through bolt and nut removal. Users who possess manual windows need to detach the rear door window regulator assembly through bolt removal and nut removal. The installation requires reversing the removal steps afterward followed by performing a door glass cycling to confirm adequate window glass engagement.

A service of the rear door window regulator begins by taking off the rear door trim panel while removing the screw that retains the bracket underneath the panel. Position the watershield aside while connecting the electrical connector of the window control switch. Using the control switch to lower your rear door window glass will make it possible to secure the screws while simultaneously removing the electrical connector. You should uninstall the rear door window glass screws before tightening them to 5 Nm (44 lb-in) strength after installation. The rear door window glass should remain in its fully upward position while disconnecting the motor electrical connector. While replacing the components keep the bolts that hold the rear door window regulator and motor at 6 Nm (53 lb-in). The repair ends with the reverse of the removal sequence after tightening the two nuts and the rear door window regulator and motor to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).

Connect the window control switch electrical connector and the battery, then lower the front door window glass to access the screws.

Remove the two screws holding the front door window glass, ensuring to tighten them to 5 Nm (44 lb-in) upon reinstallation.

Disconnect the battery and the window control switch electrical connector.

Position the watershield aside and connect the window control switch electrical connector.
