Service of the front window track door glass top run requires customers to first remove the front door window glass and then the bolt securing the front door glass top run. The first step requires you to disconnect the electrical connector followed by removing the speaker screws. Finally remove both the speaker and the electrical connector from the vehicle. The next step involves removing both the outer weather strip and the door glass top run assembly but keep an eye on the fact that the door glass top run extends partly into the front door and demands freeing it before being taken out of the door panel. The opposite steps provided for removal should be followed for reinstallation.

Take out the speaker screws, disconnect the electrical connector, and remove the speaker.

The door glass top run is partially contained within the front door and must be routed out of the door panel for removal.

First, remove the front door window glass.
