Set suitable jack stands to support the subframe and use this support to remove subframe forward bolts before lowering the front of the subframe by 37 mm (1.413 in). The correct order for disassembly includes following the assembly breakdown steps and for reassembly use the reverse sequences from disassembly. The shock absorber needs to be detached from the upper mount while holding the shock absorber rod by removing the nut. Before you install a new spring you must confirm the correct part number by reading the Vehicle Certification (VC) label which shows the specific spring code.
