The coil spring front suspension replacement requires you to discard the four shock absorber upper mount nuts while you should tighten new nuts to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft) during installation. First remove the wheel followed by taking off the tire before breaking the brake flexible hose bracket bolt and detaching the hose from the shock absorber while you should tighten the hose to 20 Nm (177 lb-in) when reinstalling. Disconnection of the wheel speed sensor harness from the shock absorber bracket should proceed the removal of shock absorber lower nuts and flag bolts to extract the shock absorber and spring assembly for disposal of the hardware pieces. To reinstall it is essential to secure the new nuts to 225 Nm (166 lb-ft) torque value before performing the opposite installation steps. Check and perform front-end alignment if needed. Using new parts with original component numbers or effective alternatives is necessary to maintain proper suspension fastener retention and prevent costly maintenance issues because inferior part designs can produce expensive service needs. All specified torque specifications must also be kept.
