How to Remove and Replace the Coil Springs in the Front Suspension on Lincoln MKZ?

In order to change front suspension coil spring, loosen shock absorber upper mount nut, then use new nut with 30 Nm and install. Un-attach the wheel, the wheel speed sensor, and hold the wheel knuckle. Install required bolts and nuts, make sure that the torques are adjusted accordingly. Lastly, undo the process of removal to install.

In order to service the coil spring, raise the car and take out the front wheel. Remove the shock absorber, press and take out the coil spring. Install the new spring keeping the bolts on the lower arm loose till the vehicle is lowered. Install shock absorber and the front wheel and tighten all bolts.
