Checks for damage must be performed on the lower and upper spring seats and spring insulator before assembly begins while a new mounting bracket should be installed if needed. The installation of a new spring must be accompanied by proper part number verification while inspecting spring paint condition. Insert the shock absorber into the vise if necessary followed by the installation of shock and spring compressor onto the strut with mark alignment matching disassembly. After installing the new shock rod nut with 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.) torque the spring compressor can be removed to install both shock absorber and spring assembly. Complete installation of fire suppression system requires a proper system restart procedure after following all necessary safety protocols.

Remove the lower nut and flag bolt, discarding the nut and tightening the new one to 235 Nm (173 lb-ft) during installation.

Rotate the stabilizer bar onto the links, install the bushings, and tighten the new nuts to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).

Remove the nuts and bolts to disconnect the shock absorbers from the axle, discarding these fasteners as well.
