The Edge requires users to push from the rear to release two tabs before they can remove the headlamp switch and its attached electrical connector. The MKX requires behind-pressure to free the tabs holding the headlamp switch combined with the bezel assembly for removal then electrical connector disconnection. The process ends with the removal of the headlamp switch after releasing its two retaining tabs. The installation follows the opposite steps of removal.
