Service and repair of the wiper switch starts with taking out the steering wheel. To access the upper steering column shroud, users should apply pressure on both its sides until removal becomes possible. Begin by removing the steering wheel, followed by taking off the upper steering column shroud by pressing its sides inward. Then proceed to remove the three screws securing the steering column cover and continue by taking off the cover. Unfasten the lower steering column shroud by removing its three screws, then separate it from its position. The service and repair of the wiper switch requires disconnecting three electrical connectors, followed by removing the four screws that secure the multi-function switch. The final stage requires you to execute the opposite steps that were used during uninstallation.
