The spark plug wire sets should be cleaned with a damp cloth before inspection while looking for any visible damage like cuts or pinches and cracks or tears that are present on the boots without separating the wires from spark plugs or ignition coils. You should begin by twisting then pulling the spark plug wire upward before detaching routes that may connect to other wires. Reinstall the connector by following the removal steps and use silicone dielectric compound at designated areas.
