    A: Raise and support vehicle. Remove muffler, tailpipe and extension. Disconnect oxygen and catalyst sensors; remove converter-to-manifold nuts. Remove transfer case side plate if equipped, heat shield and transmission support crossmember; support transmission on oil pan rails. Remove dual converter Y-pipe and separate converters if needed. Reverse to install.
