    How to service and repair the axle shaft assembly for the 8.8 Inch Ring Gear on 2005 Ford F-150?
    A:
    Place vehicle neutral on hoist; remove differential cover. Detach and secure caliper; remove brake disc. Remove pinion shaft lock bolt and shaft; on Traction-Lok remove clutch spring. Remove U-washers, axle shafts and differential gears; service clutch packs if needed. Reinstall gears, shafts, pinion, brake disc, caliper and cover.
