  • Q: How to Service the Throttle Position Sensor on 2005 Mercury Mountaineer?
    A: In order to remove the Throttle Position (TP) Sensor, cut the battery ground and take out the air cleaner outlet pipe. Before removing the TP sensor screws, loosen them. Replace the old sensor and screws and screw the new TP sensor and screws with a tightness of 3 Nm. Remake all parts after that.
