Q: How to Service and Repair the Column Shift Interlock Solenoid on 2006 Ford F-150?
A: To service the brake shift interlock actuator, make sure the vehicle is in a neutral position in a hoisting. Disassemble the steering column shrouds with steering wheel, lower dash panel and screws. Unplug the clock spring, lock it and un-screw the brake shift interlock switch. Installation is done in reverse order.
