    A: In order to service the rear cross-member, lift the vehicle using the transmission in neutral. Take out the skid plate and exhaust heat shield clamps. Unscrew the nuts of the transmission block, hold the transmission up and label the crossmember. Take out and replace the crossmember bolts, and tighten to recommended torque. Installation is finished by reversing the procedure.
