Sway Bar Link Installation and Repair Tips for 2009 Lincoln MKX

  • Q: How to service and repair the rear suspension sway bar link on 2009 Lincoln MKX?
A: In order to fix the rear sway bar connection, the vehicle must be placed in neutral position on a hoist. Change screw-in nuts on top and bottom, to tightness of 40 Nm. Take off sway bar bracket, fit new nuts at 55 Nm and check/replace bushings where necessary. Un assembly in the reverse order.
