The area where the disc meets the hub assembly needs an application of Rust Penetrant and Inhibitor F2AZ-19A501-A or an equivalent product which fulfills Ford specification ESR-M99C56-A if the brake disc does not detach smoothly. The plastic hammer should be used for striking the disc at the wheel bolts. Failure to remove the brake disc with other methods requires using 2-3 jaw puller 205-D027 (D80L-1013-A) or its equivalent for proper disc extraction. Check for disc runout if excessive force becomes needed at the time of removal. When reinstallation begins apply an equivalent portion of High Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant F6AZ-9L494-AA or ESE-M12A4-A according to Ford specification to disc pilot diameter then proceed backward through the removal steps.
